Oberwetter, a senior pre-law student, was elected Thresher business manager in October, 1940, replacing Pat Nicholson, who had resigned to hold the office of 1940-41 editor. He had served earlier as associate business manager under Lee Capps. Oberwetter is vice president of the P r e L a w Association and a member of Roll and Quill and Rally Club. He applied February 1, 1942 for service in the naval reserve supply corps, and was commissioned an ensign March 31. The business manager completes specially scheduled final examinations tomorrow. 0
